A weekend diving camp that leaves Mexico City. It is the intensive course that certifies you as a NAUI Open Water Diver: online theory, Confined Water Practice and four evaluation dives, for one price.

Theory online, from home
Your NAUI Education System access opens the day you book. You study at your own pace, without giving up a weekend in a classroom.

Confined Water Practice, during the trip
No separate weekday session and no pool charged by the hour. Confined water happens at the destination, before the evaluation, with the instructor already travelling with you.

Four evaluation dives
Two days of two tanks. Boat, crew, guide and tanks are all in. This is exactly where the traditional model hands you a second bill.

Your NAUI certification
Processing and card included. You finish the weekend certified, with nothing pending.
THE USUAL MODEL
You pay for the course: classroom theory and pool sessions. Certification requires open water dives, and that trip is quoted separately, with its own transport, accommodation, tanks and equipment rental. The price you decided on was not the final price.
HOW WE DO IT
You do the theory online, so the whole weekend goes to the water. Confined water practice and the four evaluation dives happen on the same trip, with the same instructor and the same gear already rented. One payment, one date, and you leave certified.

THE OCEAN
DECIDES
Evaluation dives depend on sea conditions, and we cannot guarantee the weather of any given weekend. If conditions keep the boat ashore, you do not lose your course: we schedule an additional dive trip at a reduced price until the four dives are complete.

Spots availableEach trip runs with a minimum of three participants. The price depends on the destination, because travel and lodging differ at each site; the deposit is MXN $3,500 everywhere. Outside Acapulco every trip is also an expedition, the trip for certified divers and for those taking an advanced course: they travel with the same group, and the expedition costs the same as the camp. Need another date? Write to us and we will arrange a private trip.

JOIN
12 years old and up
Minors need a form signed by a parent or legal guardian.
Good general health
No chronic respiratory or cardiovascular conditions. A medical questionnaire is signed.
Minimum group of three
Travelling alone? We place you in a group on the same date.
Do I need previous experience?
No. The course starts from zero and is built for beginners. You finish with the NAUI Open Water Diver course certification.
What is the remote NAUI access?
It is the NAUI online learning system, where you study the theory at your own pace from home. It opens the same day you book with the MXN $3,500 deposit.
Is the deposit refundable?
No. The MXN $3,500 deposit pays for your access to the NAUI online system, which is activated the same day you book.
What if the sea is too rough to dive?
We run everything that is possible on that trip and schedule an additional dive outing at a reduced price to complete the remaining dives.
Is equipment included?
Yes, rental of the necessary equipment is included: mask, snorkel, fins, BCD, regulator and weights. A wetsuit is optional and rented separately.
How do I get to the destination?
Transport is not included, except for Cabo Pulmo, whose price already covers the flight and ground transfers. Acapulco is about four hours by car on the Autopista del Sol, and buses leave hourly from Mexico City. We send directions for your destination once you book.
Do I need to know how to swim?
It is strongly recommended. If you cannot swim yet, write to us before booking: there is a preparation path so you arrive ready for the evaluation.

Swimwear, light clothes for the days of the trip, biodegradable sunscreen, a towel and sandals. We provide the dive gear.

Deposit: MXN $3,500 by bank transfer, non-refundable: it pays for your NAUI system access.
