Scuba Diving Course Prices in Mexico City (2026)
The NAUI Open Water Diver certification with Océano Profundo costs from $9,500 MXN per person in the diving camp format (3 to 5 days, with trips to Acapulco, Laguna de la Media Luna in San Luis Potosí, Isla Isabel, Isla de Lobos, Veracruz and Cabo Pulmo), including the NAUI online learning system, lodging, equipment rental during the course, practice, dives and certification. You reserve your spot with $3,500 MXN. A discover scuba dive costs $4,000 MXN, and the Advanced Open Water SCUBA Diver and Rescue Diver courses $9,500 MXN each, evaluation trip included.

How much does a scuba diving course cost in Mexico?
It depends on how much the school puts inside the price. The usual practice is to charge for the course on one side and for the evaluation trip on the other, so the real total only shows up once you have started. With Océano Profundo the Open Water Diver course costs from $9,500 MXN and includes online theory, Confined Water Practice, the four evaluation dives, gear rental, lodging and the international NAUI certification.
